Around a table under hanging draperies sit a king and queen in crowns on the left, a young woman in a crown in the center, and on the right two men in armor, with a servant behind them. On the table, among the tableware, is a peacock platter. Border with motifs of vases of leaves and palmettes. Colors: ochre brown, green, and blue. 17th century, Flanders. Fabrics; height 268 cm, width 300 cm., A large square piece of fabric laid flat, showing an overall beige or off-white surface with visible weave texture and creases; the edges are frayed and reveal a narrow border of faded blue and hints of green, with some areas showing darker staining and small patched repairs; there are a few small holes and tears, one more noticeable near the bottom edge where a triangular flap is folded, and several subtle spots of bluish-green discoloration and pale yellowing scattered across the cloth; the background around the fabric is a light gray.
