Height 214 cm; width 215 cm., A richly colored woven scene shows a group of people and animals in a pastoral landscape with trees and distant buildings. The foreground features several men, women, and children wearing flowing garments in shades of yellow, red, blue, green, and cream, some carrying bundles or baskets and one woman holding a small child. Figures have varied poses and hairstyles, and a few wear head coverings. To the right a bearded man in green and yellow carries a large load across his shoulders. In the midground there are more figures, riders on horses, and pack animals in tones of brown and tan interspersed with clothing in red and blue. The background contains rolling hills, clustered trees in dark green and gold, and architectural forms in muted beige and blue. The ground is decorated with stylized foliage and flowers in green, gold, and blue, and the entire piece is framed by a blue border.
