Fragment of a chasuble column, embroidery, rosettes, ribbon-and-pincer ornament. The column from the back of the chasuble is made of cream satin, onto which narrower and wider gold braids are sewn, creating a pattern of interwoven ribbons. A rosette and acanthus leaves are placed among them. The rosettes and leaves are embroidered with gold thread, sequins, and a slit. Early 18th century, Poland; fabrics; length 95 cm, width 26 cm., A horizontal decorative textile panel with a pale beige background featuring an intricate continuous knotwork pattern in shades of gold and muted olive, punctuated by a central floral rosette composed of layered petal shapes in grayish gold and darker brown tones; the design includes several looping bands and ribbon-like elements in gold with subtle pale pink textured inserts, flanked by symmetrical scrolling foliage motifs in green, brown, and gold, and accented by a few circular medallion shapes in golden and brown hues, with a narrow green border along the top edge.
