The body of Christ embroidered with white threads that have almost completely fallen out. Metal thread embroidery: laid, held with silk yarn. Silk embroidery: stitches - Cologne, split, flat. 16th century, Poland. Fabrics, length 103 cm, width 46 cm., A long, cross-shaped textile panel displayed against a pale background, with a central vertical shaft and horizontal arms, predominantly in shades of beige and brown with gold-toned embroidery; the central area features an embroidered human figure with outstretched arms, a halo rendered in blue and red above the head, and green decorative motifs flanking the figure; the piece has darker brown borders along the sides and arms, with touches of turquoise, green, red, and pale pink woven into the patterned bands and small accents.
