Doily sewn from five rectangular pieces of fabric forming a cross. The fabric is white, thin, with a pattern of alternating stripes: a zigzag snake motif with drops in the bends; patterns of twigs with pears ; between the twig patterns small squares with a sparser weave. The fabric has a tighter weave between the stripes. 18th century, East, fabrics; height 260 cm, width 257 cm., A light-colored fabric arranged in a cross-like shape against a dark gray background, composed of a central rectangular panel with a few rectangular panels extending from each side, all showing a subtle repeating textured pattern and slight variations in off-white and pale gray tones; a small tan tag is attached near one edge.
