Double-sided banner, vexillium, Our Lady of Czestochowa iconographic, White Eagle coat of arms, Double-sided banner with insurgent symbols. On the main white side, at the top center, there is a small applied jacquard image of Our Lady of Czestochowa; below is an embroidered inscription CZUWAJ; beneath, against the background of crossed scythes standing upright, a Maciejówka cap with peacock feathers. On the reverse, a white eagle under a crown embroidered on a red background. Edge trimmed with gold fringe. 2nd half of the 19th century, Poland. Banner; height 115 cm, width 122 cm., A square fabric banner with a beige background and a fringed brown edge, showing signs of creases and stains across its surface, with a small rectangular embroidered image near the top depicting two robed figures in blue, red, and gold, and a decorative gold border; below that image is a curved embroidered motif in gold thread. Centered on the banner is an embroidered composition of crossed long gray blades, a black fur-like textured element, a red cap draped over the fur, several brown wooden handles beneath the blades, and two small peacock-feather elements with blue and green eyes tucked near the cap.
