Double-sided banner, banners, gift, vexils, embroidery, mottos, Mary and Child with St. John iconography, January Uprising 1863–1864, inscriptions, White Eagle coat of arms, Pogon coat of arms, coats of arms, crowns; double-sided bluebell made of woolen fabric. On the main side, against a red and purple background, are the coat of arms of Poland and Lithuania – the Eagle and Pogon – with a large crown sewn on with beads, pearls, and sequins, and colorful flannel imitating precious stones. Below, an embroidered inscription in capital letters embroidered outline: FOR FAITH AND HOMELAND, 1863. On the reverse, an embroidered canvas painting of the Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus and John the Baptist, sewn at the top. Below the painting, an embroidered inscription: MOTHER DO NOT ABORT US. 1863. Height 126 cm, width 103 cm., A rectangular fabric banner with a wide pale border and a faded purple central field, showing a stitched white bird with outstretched wings on the left and a stitched figure on horseback on the right, a decorative crown-like motif above them, embroidered outlines and applique work in white and pale tones, visible areas of wear and small brownish stains across the purple surface, and a small pale tassel at one corner.
