Small crosses between the palmettes. Border with a simplified leafy tendril pattern. Embroidery: raised, on a hem, on a cord backing, with gold-braided metal thread and gold sequins. 17th/18th century, Poland. Fabrics; length 96 cm, width 18.5 cm., A narrow rectangular textile strip with ornate repeating floral and foliate patterns in shades of gold and beige, mounted vertically against a pale background; the strip shows a decorative border and slightly frayed edges with loose threads, and small tags attached near one end, with overall colors including gold, beige, brown, and hints of off-white.
