Lace, width 4.2 cm, length 57 cm., A long narrow strip of delicate lace with a scalloped top edge and a straight bottom edge rests against a smooth background; the lace features a repeating floral and scrollwork pattern formed by open mesh areas and more densely stitched motifs, with visible loops and tiny decorative picots along the scalloped edge and a thin stitched border along the bottom; the lace appears off-white or cream against a medium gray background, and there are several areas where the threads form intricate nets and solid embroidered shapes.
