At three edges are motifs of trees and houses; at the fourth, widest edge, a wide twig motif. In the corners, four different floral or leafy sprigs are embroidered with gold thread in stitched stitches. Church paraments; sacred art; churches and chapels furnishings. 18th century, Poland. Fabrics. Height 65 cm, width 66 cm., A square lace cloth displayed flat against a pale gray background, predominantly off-white or cream in color with a few small areas of light brown decorative embroidery near some corners, featuring an open net-like center with scattered small floral motifs, a scalloped inner border and a wider outer border containing larger floral and geometric lace patterns, subtle folding creases visible, and a small rectangular tag attached near one corner.
