Lace fragment, in a regular projective ornament with three motifs: a square, a quatrefoil, and four closely spaced circles. The preserved fragment has the form of a trapezoid with all edges cut. 19th century, France. Lace; height 38 cm, width 37 cm., A torn piece of sheer fabric with a mesh-like gray background covered by a regular pattern of small raised floral and diamond motifs in cream, laid flat against a medium gray surface; frayed edges are visible around the irregular perimeter and a small beige tag is attached near one corner.
