Napkin of white silk fabric embroidered with a pattern of single projections of large flowers and fruit. Trimmed with silk braid with short shreds. Plain weave fabric, density: 34 weft threads and 34 warp threads per 1 cm, two workshop edges preserved, piece width: 45 cm. Flat, pierced embroidery with colored silk threads - a thread of one color penetrates a row of threads of another color, thus shading the color transitions. Embroidery with gold thread around the petals of peonies, irises, and tulips. The colors are subdued, but not faded: burgundy, blue in several tones, cream, beige, ochre, green, light yellow-green, gold. Compared to another napkin, the colors of the silk threads are not as bright, and the embroidery is more detailed; the napkin also seems to be earlier. Early 18th century, Poland. Height 42.5 cm, width 45 cm., A square fabric square with a beige background and a fringed tan border, decorated with embroidered floral motifs in colors including blue, green, pink, yellow, and red; the design features a group of larger stylized blue flowers near the center and several smaller flowers and buds arranged around the edges, with green leaves and stems interspersed; the fabric shows faint creases and some light discoloration spots, and a small paper tag is attached near one corner.
