Fabric fragment. Silk brocaded with a symmetrical composition of branches of various stylized flowers surrounded by a geometric-floral overprint ornament. Background blue gros de Tours with liseré; pattern brocaded in light green, yellow, white, blue, light and dark red, light brown, and pink. Floral pattern. 18th century, France. Report size larger than preserved fragment. Preserved fragment dimensions: height 51.5 cm × width 44 cm; length of report approx. 38 cm; width of edge 0.6 cm., A square piece of fabric with a muted blue-gray background displaying a symmetrical floral pattern in shades of yellow, pink, red, white, and purple, with a few clustered flower shapes and leaf-like motifs repeated across the surface; the woven texture and some worn areas are visible, and frayed edges appear along the top and bottom with a folded corner at one side showing the fabric reverse; thin darker seams run vertically near the center, and scattered loose threads lie on and around the textile.
