Table, Biedermeier style, attributed to, associated with Józef Pilsudski 1867–1935. Rectangular table with drop-down flaps on the short sides; supported by four turned, tapering legs with knuckles at the top. Main top plate lined in the middle with grey cloth, framed by a mahogany frame; connected to the frame by sideboards. Flaps veneered with mahogany. Wooden sliders with slatted flap supports glued to the underside of the main top part, on the short sides. Profiled legs with a roll-up at the top and pairs of rings below and halfway up; frame stained mahogany, polished. Dated 1830–1837, Warsaw. Furniture; table. Dimensions: height 78.4 cm, width 221 cm, depth 96 cm., A wooden table with a green inset surface stands on a parquet wood floor against a plain light-colored wall with a wooden baseboard; the table has a medium brown finish, turned legs, and an extended leaf on one side, and the scene shows colors including brown, green, tan, and off-white.
