Deckchair, Polish Timber Industry, Czerski and Jakimowicz furniture factory; 1929–1939, furniture factory author; lounge, beach, and garden folding deckchair constructed from two different-sized rectangular frames: the backrest smaller and the seat larger, connected by hinges, with canvas stretched over them. Frame elements except the turned rear leg connector and the doubled front seat stile are angular. The seat frame is supported on its shorter sides by two folding legs connected by a connector, the front extended into armrest supports. Armrests have hinges adjustable in three positions. Salmon-colored canvas fabric with vertical orange stripes framed by narrow blue stripes; canvas attached to the underside of the upper backrest frame and the rear seat frame, sandwiched between the two front seat frames. Originally equipped with a separate footrest. 1938–1939; Lviv place of origin; seating furniture; height 84.2 cm, width 58.5 cm, depth 115.5 cm., A single wooden folding chair viewed from the back, with a beige fabric seat and backrest that has vertical narrow blue stripes, and a frame finished in a warm orange-brown wood; the scene is set against a smooth neutral gray background and floor, with soft even lighting and subtle shadows beneath the chair.
