Console, Biedermeier and Louis Philippe styles, carved mahogany-veneered console on four angular legs mounted on a platform with a wavy outline; front legs strongly curved, rear legs straight, flattened, with bases and capitals. Entire piece polished. Platform supported by four low turned legs. Lower section of legs composed of channel sections decorated at top and bottom with knobbed pinnacles. Wide frame repeats concave–convex shape of top, rounded at front corners, wavy-cut at bottom, framed with a half-cylinder; front frame forms face of drawer. Top has a profiled edge, connected to frame with cube side panels. Drawer contains two rows of compartments inside; small front corner compartments have rosewood covers. Drawer secured by a single-bolt mortise lock. Dated 1835–1850. Piece of furniture table. Height 82 cm, width 107.2 cm, depth 45 cm., A wooden table displayed against a neutral light gray background, showing a rectangular top with a warm reddish-brown surface and a slightly raised molded edge. The table has straight vertical legs in a darker brown tone, connected at the base by a flat lower shelf with a curved cutout, and a pair of large decorative curved supports in a deep brown finish on each side. There are small rounded feet beneath the legs, visible wear and scuff marks on the wood, and a few small light-colored patches on the apron. The visible colors include reddish-brown, dark brown, light brown, beige, and gray.
