Table by Jakub Jan Simmler 1791–1872, carpenter. Round table supported by three S-shaped carved legs with acanthus volutes at both ends, mounted on a triangular platform with concave sides. Legs strongly flared at the top with half-cylinders at the rear edges, topped with volutes. Platform has three flat, block-shaped feet. Round, narrow frame glued from four layers of slats into a brick shape. Louis Philippe style, acanthus ornament, plant decoration, volutes. Dated 1840–1847. Furniture; table. Height 76.4 cm; diameter 93.5 cm., A wooden table base with a rich brown finish consisting of a circular top frame supported by a tripod of curved legs, each leg featuring carved decorative scrolls and leaf-like motifs near the top and bottom, and the legs meet a triangular stretcher base with carved accents at each corner; the surface shows glossy wood grain and polished highlights, and the background is a smooth light gray.
