Leg surfaces decorated with rose-filled fields, edged with light veining. Leg cubes with inlaid rosettes. Straight frame repeating the outline of the top, with a drawer on the longer side, inlaid with the top into a cube in perspective. The top is bordered with a straight edge creating a kind of gallery. Semi-mortise, flush, single-bolt lock. Late 18th century, Central Europe. Furniture, table; height 71 cm, width 39.5 cm, depth 52.5 cm., A wooden table with a rectangular top featuring intricate geometric marquetry in warm brown and golden tones, a darker brown border along the top edge, slender tapered legs with vertical lighter wood inlays, a shallow apron with matching geometric inlay and small carved floral motifs at the corners, and an overall finish showing polished wood grain in shades of brown, amber, and tan against a neutral gray background.
