Wardrobe, Biedermeier style, architectural elements, columns, Biedermeier cabinet, mahogany, single-piece, with straight sides and front, closed by double doors framed by columns; with a triangular, flattened pediment and a drawer in a stepped finial; supported by low, block legs. The plinth is prominent, straight on the sides, profiled at the front with an S-shaped cross-section. The door leaves are rectangular, framed with light veining. At the front, below the pediment, are decorative corbels. The front corners of the stepped finial are rounded; the drawer face is wavy. Columns with smooth shafts, turned bases, and carved Ionic capitals. Four shelves on toothed rails inside. Board-shaped sides; frame-shaped back with two panels. Drawer bottoms are recessed. Single-bolt mortise door lock with brass front plate. Bone bookcases. 1830–1845, Berlin, storage unit, furniture. Dimensions: height 182.5 cm; width 110.5 cm; depth 58.5 cm., A large wooden wardrobe occupies the frame, showing a rich brown finish with visible wood grain patterns and darker brown swirls on its double doors; the piece has a rectangular top with stepped molding and a slightly curved lower apron, and two vertical rounded columns flanking the doors with decorative capitals; the doors feature inlaid rectangular outlines and small keyhole openings, and the base rests on block feet with lighter inlaid panels; overall colors visible include several shades of brown ranging from warm golden brown to deep mahogany, plus a neutral gray background.
