Children's armchair, origin unknown, rococo style, geometric ornament, cabriole legs, openwork backrests, for children. A children's armchair in the style of English Rococo furniture, with a trapezoidal padded seat and openwork backrest on cabriole legs ending in slipper feet. Narrow frame with bulging sides and a small front apron. S-shaped armrests with supports composed of two C-shaped beams. Side backrest slats are angular, topped with volutes framing the slightly rolled upper slat. Central backrest features a vase-shaped board mounted on a lower curtain frame. Seat on straps with later upholstery embroidered with crosses on canvas in a geometric pattern referencing oriental carpets; central is an isosceles cross in red, green, navy blue, and white. 3rd quarter of the 18th century; upholstery ca. 1870. Seating piece furniture. Height 71 cm, width 56.3 cm, depth 39.5 cm., An ornate wooden armchair with a carved backrest and curved arm supports, finished in a warm brown wood grain, featuring a padded seat covered in a patterned textile showing a mix of red, blue, green, beige, and cream colors in geometric motifs; the chair has cabriole front legs and a plain background in off-white.
