Armchair, rococo style, carved and upholstered seat, backrest and armrests, on four cabriole legs ending in turned-out slipper feet, arching into a wavy-cut, slightly bulging frame. Seat cushion recessed into the frame rebate on straps. S-shaped armrests and supports. Backrest disc-shaped, nearly rectangular, tilted outward with a clearance. Profiled frame elements enriched with carving rosettes on the knees of the legs; rocaille motif framed by a plant twig and a bird's wing on the front frame and horizontal backrest frames. Tenon joints reinforced with dowels; re-painted with gold paint. 3rd quarter of the 18th century, Italy, height 92 cm, width 70 cm, depth 64 cm., A wooden armchair frame with carved decorative details and curved legs sits against a light gray background; the wood shows warm brown tones with visible grain and carved floral motifs on the crest, apron, and knees, and the armrests feature a pale yellow patterned fabric on the top surfaces; the chair lacks seat and back upholstery, revealing inner wooden supports with some lighter, weathered areas and spots of wear.
