Side table, noted; geometric ornament, rosettes, stars, mashrabiya. Rectangular side table with drop-down desks on each side and a shelf at the bottom, inlaid with mother-of-pearl and bone in geometric and plant patterns. Straight, angular legs, S-shaped at the bottom, topped with brass rollers. Wide, openwork frame filled with a dense lattice of turned elements mashrabiya. The tabletop, desks, frame edges, and shelf edge are decorated with geometric braid forming rosettes on the surfaces. The shelf is covered with stars with hexagonal fields in the center, forming a network. The desk supports imitate bamboo. 2nd half of the 19th century, probably Syria. Furniture; table. Dimensions: height 82 cm, width 100 cm, depth 75 cm., A rectangular decorative panel with an intricate geometric lattice of interlocking star and polygon shapes, featuring a dark brown linear framework over light, creamy white inlay; the design repeats across the surface with a border of diagonal woven lattice and a narrow outer frame that alternates dark brown and white striped accents.
