Scissor chair, Scissor armchair made of eight pairs of crossed S-shaped slats, connected at the bottom by runners and at the top by armrests, with a board backrest and seat, decorated with ivory inlay. The slats are fastened with a steel rod at the intersection, which, together with the lifting seat and backrest board, enables the structure to be folded and unfolded. The runners are angular, ending in carved animal paws at the front. The armrests are angular, ending in spheres and movable rings. The backrest is roughly triangular in shape, with a wavy outline, and the seat features an apron added at the front. The backrest board features an inlaid Medici coat of arms beneath a seven-baton crown, supported by putti and lions. The visible colors include various shades of brown in the wood, lighter beige or cream in the inlaid decoration, and a neutral gray background.
