Pedestal, provenance unknown, Biedermeier style. PEDESTAL in the shape of a column with a smooth shaft, with a cylindrical base on a square plinth. The whole is veneered with birch burl. The shaft is made of eight boards glued together at an angle from the front. The four plinth boards are connected with diagonal dovetails. The shaft is fastened to the plinth with four screws and additionally mounted on a centrally placed peg. 1825–1835, Poland, furniture. Height 112 cm, width 44.7 cm, depth 45 cm., A tall cylindrical wooden column with a glossy burl wood grain pattern in shades of golden brown and amber stands on a round stepped wooden base of the same material, which sits on a square wooden plinth; the floor around it is stone in muted gray tones and the wall behind is a pale off-white.
