Chair with turned and carved frame elements, padded seat and high backrest, supported by four turned legs fastened with turned links forming an H stretcher at the bottom, with an additional carved front board shell flanked by U-shaped acanthus leaves, topped with a closed crown. Front legs with carved feet in the form of a claw clamping a ball; rear legs angled outward with ankle feet. Backrest filled with two profiled slats, side frames in the shape of slender balusters, carved top board with decoration similar to the board connecting the front legs. Trapezoidal seat upholstered with leather covering the frame. Ornamentation: shells, plant decoration; motif: crown. Associated with the Camaldolese order/monastery. Baroque style, ca. 1700, possibly Gdansk. Seating furniture; height 124.7 cm, width 51.5 cm, depth 52 cm., A wooden chair with a tall back featuring carved decorative cresting and turned vertical supports, a dark leather upholstered seat with decorative studs along its edge, and turned legs and stretchers with carved details; visible colors include brown wood tones, dark brown or black leather, and a gray background.
