Bedside table with toilet, 4th quarter of the 18th century, England. Bedstand with toilet: tambour door in the upper section and a pull-out section below with a circular opening for a bedside chamber pot with a lid. Supported by four angular stand-up legs; front legs divided diagonally in half, the front half connected to the front, wavy-cut board of the pull-out section at the bottom. Pull-out handle of gilded brass. Opening cover turned, recessed in the center, with a round handle. Front and side walls of the body have wavy-cut tops with oval openings handles. A blind consisting of two parts that slide sideways, with small brass knobs. Function: piece of furniture for hygiene. Height 82 cm, width 59.2 cm, depth 45 cm., A wooden piece of furniture with a polished dark brown finish is shown from above, featuring a top surface with raised edges and rounded corner posts, a middle section with a pair of vertically ribbed doors, and a lower pull-out drawer opened to reveal a circular cutout in a framed panel; the drawer front has a metallic colored handle with a curved design, and the piece stands on straight legs against a gray background, with visible colors including dark brown, lighter brown wood tones, metallic brass, and gray.
