Bedside table, Biedermeier, mahogany; composed of an elongated platform outline similar to a triangle on three S-shaped legs with rollers, a fluted shaft mounted on it tapering upwards, and a rectangular top. The shaft is mounted on the short side of the platform, housing a prismatic column with a metal rack and a top swivel-mounted on it. The height of the top is adjusted using a crank working with the rack. The top can be tilted by a brass ring with a clamp that fixes its position. Turned wooden crank handle. 1815–1830, Europe. Furniture; table. Height 73.2 cm, width 81.2 cm, depth 41.2 cm., A rectangular wooden tray with rounded corners is shown standing at an angle against a pale gray background, displaying a rich brown wood grain with a darker central panel and a lighter brown border, and a smooth polished surface reflecting subtle highlights.
