Bedside table, Biedermeier style, mahogany. Composed of an elongated platform outline similar to a triangle on three S-shaped legs with rollers; a fluted shaft mounted on it, tapering upwards, and a rectangular top. The shaft is mounted on the short side of the platform, housing a prismatic column with a metal rack and a top swivel-mounted on it. The height of the top is adjusted using a crank working with the rack. The top can be tilted by a brass ring with a clamp that fixes its position. Turned wooden crank handle. Date: 1815–1830. Dimensions: height 73.2 cm; width 81.2 cm; depth 41.2 cm., A wooden adjustable lectern or stand with a rectangular slanted top in a polished dark brown wood held by a semicircular metal bracket, mounted on a turned fluted column of medium brown wood with a brass collar near the top and a carved tripod base on small casters, set against a plain light gray background; visible colors include dark brown, medium brown, brassy gold, black, and light gray.
