Bedside table, Biedermeier style, mahogany. Composed of an elongated platform outline similar to a triangle on three S-shaped legs with rollers; a fluted shaft mounted on it, tapering upwards, and a rectangular top. The shaft is mounted on the short side of the platform, housing a prismatic column with a metal rack and a top swivel-mounted on it. The height of the top is adjusted using a crank working with the rack. The top can be tilted by a brass ring with a clamp that fixes its position. Turned wooden crank handle. 1815–1830, Europe. Furniture; table. Height 73.2 cm, width 81.2 cm, depth 41.2 cm., A wooden adjustable table with a rectangular top in warm brown tones supported by a turned fluted central column and a horizontal stretcher base; the table shows a polished wood grain with darker and lighter brown variations, a small wooden crank handle on one side in a similar brown, brass or metal fittings at the crank and small caster wheels at the base with metallic tones, all set against a neutral light gray background.
