The carving includes shapes resembling shields, crossed objects, draped banners, and stylized flowers and leaves. The wood shows variations in tone with lighter brown areas, darker brown spots, and signs of wear and small abrasions along the top edge and corners. The background behind the framed panel is a pale gray.
