Sleigh, rococo two-seater, carved, polychrome, gilded. In the shape of a gondola made using the dugout canoe method, painted blue, with a wavy upper rim highlighted by a half-cylinder and channel sections with rocaille motifs. Front in the form of a mascaron painted red, framed with acanthus leaves. Rear trestle, originally upholstered, with carved acanthus underneath. Inside the sled are four sockets for connection with skid supports. 3rd quarter of the 18th century, Poland, vehicle. Height 57 cm; width 208 cm; depth 68 cm., A carved wooden object shaped like an elongated shoe or slipper with a handle, shown from above; the interior is hollow and appears dark brown to nearly black, with a segment of the inside showing a slightly different darker panel; the rim and exterior surfaces display worn paint in shades of golden yellow and muted blue-gray; the toe end is carved into a stylized human face with ear shapes, eyes, and a pronounced nose, painted in reddish-brown and tan hues with some darker brown shading; the handle is flat and dark brown with visible wood grain and wear; the background is a uniform light gray.
