Sleigh, rococo two-seater, carved, polychrome, gilded; 3rd quarter of the 18th century, Poland . Sleigh in the shape of a gondola made using the dugout canoe method, painted blue, with a wavy upper rim highlighted by a half-cylinder and channel sections with rocaille motifs; front in the form of a mascaron painted red, framed with acanthus leaves; rear trestle originally upholstered with carved acanthus underneath; inside the sleds four sockets for connection with skid supports; mascarons, men's heads, rocaille and acanthus ornamentation; height 57 cm, width 208 cm, depth 68 cm., A carved decorative object resembling a boat-like form with a sculpted human head at one end, showing skin tones of reddish-brown and darker brown, and hair carved in a muted gold color; the main body is painted a muted teal or blue-green with ornate carved scrollwork and leaf motifs in shades of gold and beige, and the interior appears darker, near black or deep brown; there are areas of worn dark brown wood visible on the handle-like extension, and the overall background is a neutral gray.
