Portrait of Bona Sforza d'Aragona 1494–1557, after a miniature, 2nd half of the 19th century; Italy, Torre del Greco; gemma, bas-relief; height 5.1 cm, width 4 cm., A relief plaque showing a carved figure of a woman in a dress and draped shawl set against a rectangular background; the figure and frame are a creamy off-white color with a warm tan background, and the woman wears a beaded necklace and has long hair, with detailed patterns on the bodice and skirt and visible hands resting at her waist.
