Teapot, Rundell Bridge & Rundell fl. ca. 1788–1845 goldsmiths, Scott, Digby & Smith, Benjamin fl. 1802–1807 goldsmiths; tea vessel, 1803/1804, London, England. Hemispherical vessel on a low cylindrical pedestal; body decorated in lower part with radial curls and upper edge with a band of acanthus leaves. Hinged lid with raised collar bearing an applied vine branch with clusters. Double handle of blackened wood set in caps—the upper caps shaped as snake heads, the lower as tails. Applied Czartoryski coat of arms on a paludament with labry, rank crowns, princely mitre, mottos including Badz co sie jest, and Pogon Ruska; iconography includes vines and a snake. Clasp; material: goldsmith work; function: tea vessel. Dimensions: height 13 cm, width 24.6 cm, depth 17.2 cm; weight 1002 g., A silver-colored metal bowl with a hinged lid is shown open, revealing a shallow inner compartment and a raised circular underside of the lid; the bowl has ornate decorative edging with a floral and grape motif around the rim and a textured band below it, and a decorative shield-like cartouche on the front; the lower body features vertical fluted detailing and the piece rests on a short round base, all set against a pale neutral background with soft reflections beneath.
