Engraved surface. 17th century, Central Europe. Metalwork. Height 35.5 cm, width 7.8 cm, depth 3.3 cm., An elongated ornate metal object with a narrow handle widening into a decorative pierced terminal, showing a patina of dark brown and greenish tones with areas of lighter greenish corrosion; the top portion is squared with a few round holes along the length of the handle and faint engraved floral or foliate motifs on the wider upper section; the lower decorative end has symmetrical scrolling openwork and a pointed leaf-like finial, all set against a neutral gray background.
