Pear-shaped chocolate vessel supported on three legs, with a small spout and a hinged lid featuring a circular opening and a sliding circular cover. Purchased in 1883 as vieux Paris for 500 francs., A single metal pot with a rounded base and a lid sits on three curved legs, showing ornate engraved floral and scroll patterns on its body and a ribbed lower section; a dark wooden turned handle extends horizontally from one side, and the lid has a small decorative finial and a hinged opening. The visible colors are silver and dark brown against a light gray background.
