Scallop-shaped vessel terminating on one side with an oval, narrow handle; radially clasped; decorated on the rim with relief floral ornament, volutes and acanthus scrolls; supported on three shell feet. Materials: silver. Subject/ornament: floral ornaments, acanthus leaves, scallop shell motif. Dimensions: height 5 cm, depth 23 cm, width 28.5 cm, handle width 10 cm; weight 357 g., A decorative shell-shaped metal dish with a shiny silver surface, ornate raised floral and scrollwork patterns along the ridged interior and outer rim, a scalloped edge, and a smooth oval area near one end; colors visible include silver and shades of gray against a white background.
