Purchase provenance: scrap — purchase., A single metallic container with a rounded body and a removable perforated domed lid sits against a plain light background; the object is primarily silvery with areas of darker tarnish and small spots, the lid shows decorative cutout patterns and a small finial on top, the body tapers toward a stepped circular base that has a beaded edge, and the overall surface displays slight scratches and blemishes in shades of silver and gray.
