Timepiece; height 6.8 cm, width 4.8 cm., An open round metal compact with ornate carved edges reveals an inner lid with a circular mirror and an empty lower compartment lined with brown velvet; the metal is silver-toned with darker tarnish in places, the velvet lining is rich brown with a few slightly darker spots, and the background is a soft light gray.
