Pectoral watch, maker: I. Stosch signature on mechanism, maker active Israel Stosch fl. 1st half of 17th century. Baroque, 17th century, 1st half of the 19th century mechanism. Pectoral watch in an oval case with a frame featuring a circular glazed cut-out revealing a dial with a silver ring bearing hour numerals. Frame decorated with an engraved tendril. Underside open-work with a motif of a winged bust passing at the bottom into a tendril, surrounded by tendril motif. Openwork sides with tendril motif. Mechanism with a striking device. Timepiece; height 5.3 cm, width 3.5 cm. Wroclaw. Floral ornament, grotesques., An open ornate round metal case with elaborate openwork filigree in gold tones, showing a hinged lid with an intricate layered mechanism featuring circular floral-like patterns and a visible curved element in blue, set against a light neutral background; the interior of the lower half reveals a smooth metallic basin in a silvery tone, while the exterior rim and sides of the case display additional decorative scrolling filigree in gold with darker accents and small rounded ornamental knobs.
