Jug. On a circular, stepped base, the body bulges in the lower part, decorated with a repoussé leafy twig and, at the rim, an eagle with spread wings. Above the two stepped areas is a neck with a spout. Repoussé leaves under the rim and along the rim. The hemispherical handle, fastened with rivets; the lid is hinged with a finger grip, arched, decorated with a leafy rosette and topped with a ball. Maker: Roman Szewczykowski 1849–1901. 1st half of the 18th century. Poland. Vessel. Height 39.5 cm, width 23.9 cm, depth 28.4 cm., A single metal pitcher with a domed lid and a small finial sits against a plain light gray background, showing a warm brown and bronze surface with darker patina in recessed areas. The vessel has a bulbous lower body that tapers into a narrower neck and a flared base, with decorative raised relief carving around the midsection depicting a bird with outstretched wings amid stylized foliage and scrolling motifs. The neck and upper shoulder feature leaf-like relief panels and a vertical spout-like projection beneath the lid, while the lid and rim have subtle embossed patterns and a slightly darker metallic sheen. The object rests on a reflective surface that creates a faint mirrored reflection of the base.
