Two-candle candelabra, Egyptian women, early 19th century, France, unknown locality, lighting, height 35 cm, width 22.5 cm, depth 11.3 cm, A gilded two-armed candlestick with a central vertical figure-like column standing on a rectangular base; the candlestick arms curve outward and upward with leaf-like decorative elements and floral drip pans beneath each socket, all in a gold tone, while the central column has a darker, patinated surface with carved drapery-like detailing and touches of gold accents; the rectangular base appears to be a light beige or cream stone with gold mounts at the corners, small chained railings in gold between short posts, and gold ornamental elements on the sides, all supported by four gold paw-shaped feet, set against a plain gray background.
