Made in Paris, France, ca. 1798–1809; classification: coffee pot, tableware item, jug., A metallic silver pot with a bulbous body stands on a group of three curved legs, each leg having a decorative ridge and a slightly flattened foot, and the pot has a hinged lid with a small rounded finial and ornate hinge pieces; a wooden handle in a warm brown extends horizontally from one side, attached to a circular metal mount, and the surface of the pot shows subtle scratches, reflections, and areas of patina against a pale grey background.
