Rectangular key case with a hinged lid and two clasp hooks. Trimmed with red leather, with gilded embossing; on the lid a frame along the edge with an ornament in the corners. In the centre, a ducal mitre. On the underside, a gilded frame along the edge; in the centre a non-gilded embossed rhombus with an inscribed quatrefoil, and in the centre a rhombus with a four-petal rosette. Glued on a printed card and with a typewritten note describing that it was presented in 1833 as a wedding gift. 1833, Darmstadt, Germany; materiaI/varia.
