Watch in a double case: outer case with a framed dial and a repoussé depiction of the Crucifixion with Mary and St. John on the back, surrounded by a border of eight C-shaped sections and ornamental decoration. Smooth silver inner case; silver dial with Roman numerals for hours separated by gold dots and Arabic minute numerals. Reserve bears the signature of the watchmaker Zeidlmayr. Inside, the movement cover has a cutout revealing a bun. Movement marked: Breslau / Joseph Zeidlmayr. On the inside of the case: a negative MS mark, a negative mark and a possible illegible goldsmith's mark rosette?, and two numbers—markings likely made by repair watchmakers. 1st half of the 18th century; Silesia; timepiece., An open pocket watch with a metal ring and hinge, showing a circular ornate face with metallic tones of silver and gold, a dark gray inner dial, and a few decorative raised studs in gold; the watch hands are intricately shaped in gold, set against concentric rings with engraved patterns and a mix of smooth and textured metal surfaces, all pictured on a light gray background.
