Signature: Johann / Michael / Gugenmus / A Varsovie. Mechanism with a strike repeater, with a handle on the side wall under the upper edge. 2nd half of the 18th century, Poland, Warsaw. Timepiece; height 8.5 cm, width 13.5 cm, depth 13.5 cm., A metallic hexagonal object with a circular domed center held by a diagonal bar, showing a mix of brass, silver, bronze, and darker tarnished metal tones; each corner of the hexagon has a rounded ornamental knob with layered ridges, and several small screws and hinge-like fittings are visible; the surface shows subtle scratches and patina in shades of gray, gold, and brown, and the piece sits on a reflective surface with a pale gray background.
