On the reverse of the bowl: dotted italic inscription Anno 1766 1 April; below it an engraved shooting shield, crossed rifles, and the Elblag coat of arms. Along the handle: dotted, very faded German italic inscription Hier isst ? der Platz da zeigt deinen Fleis / Ein Edlen Rath # dir Ehr und Preis.
