Closed with a lid, with a movable handle mounted in pinnacles shaped like simplified vases. On the lid stamped 16 MARK, Prussian eagle, BERLIN stamp; 160 engraved on another mark; 152 engraved on the side. Late 18th century, Germany. Weight. Creator: Gwicht, Szewczykowski, Roman 1849–1901., A small metal bucket-like vessel with a hinged decorative lid and handle, shown against a plain light gray background; the object is metallic brass in color with areas of darker tarnish and patina, featuring rounded finials and curved ornamental supports, a rope-like rim detail, two small projecting bracket-like elements on the sides, and a reflective surface beneath that shows a faint mirrored outline.
