Jewellery die, Approximately hexagonal die with a relief rectangular reserve enclosed at the ends by two leaves. At the top and bottom of the reserve are floral and plant decorations and scrolls. Probably a jeweller's die for making semi-finished products, 2nd half of the 19th century, Germany. Die; height 3 cm, width 6 cm, depth 3 cm., A single irregularly shaped metallic object sits against a pale gray background, showing a textured, dark gray base with areas of rust-colored brown and lighter gray wear. The top surface features a raised decorative band with ornate scrollwork and floral motifs in a shinier silver-gray, exhibiting highlights and small shadows that emphasize its carved details. The object casts a soft reflection and faint shadow on the surface beneath it.
