Four-bolt door lock with key. A lock of good locksmithing workmanship, from the beginning of the last century, with precise, professional finishing on both the lock plate and the brass covering of the mechanism. The key originally and its rich register are meticulously and precisely crafted, showing a high level of locksmithing skill—probably a masterful piece of craftsmanship. A four-bolt latch lock on a rectangular plate with a trefoil rear section, with a cover engraved with a twig motif, profiled male busts with mustaches in the side bulges and an en face mask in the central one, and a hole for the register dome. On the reverse, the plate is bent at a right angle for mounting on the side of the door; the mechanism is partially covered by an openwork cover engraved with a twig motif with a bird and a pomegranate. Screw mounting. The key is missing, and a brass box cover that once covered the central part of the lock is also absent. 17th century, Baroque style, metalwork; height 33 cm, width 22 cm, depth 12.8 cm., A vertical metallic object shown in profile against a pale gray background, primarily in shades of dull silver and brass with areas of darker tarnish and patina; the object has a flat rectangular base, a tall narrow upright section with rounded edges, and a prominent pointed protrusion near the top with a conical tip, along with several small rounded rivets and screws along its side; the surface shows scratches and wear, and the object casts a subtle reflection on the glossy surface beneath it.
